October is going
to be another great month for the Subaru/SPT/ESX Team!
Packed with races and shows the team will divide and conquer both coasts during the next
month.
Coming off it's second NHRA "Wally" Win, the Street Class Subaru STi and rookie
driver Julie Stepan will be appearing Sept. 25 at the Subaru of America Penn-Jersey Parts
Depot in West Ampton, NJ., then its off to the races Oct. 1 & 2 at the NHRA Sport
Compact Fall Nationals in Englishtown, NJ.Meanwhile,
the Worlds Fastest Subaru will be screaming down the west coast in preparation for the
NHRA World Finals. Our Pro Class Subaru Sti will start it's first race of the month at the
CMI Import Races in Sacramento, CA. Oct. 8. Then travel to Bakersfield, CA., Oct. 15 &
16 for the Battle of the Import Races.
Both Subaru's will meet up to compete in the final NHRA
race of the year the "NHRA World Finals" Oct. 22 & 23, in Pomona, CA.
The team will also be present at two Hot Import Nights
"HIN" events this month as well. The first one will be in Pleasanton, CA., Oct.
8th and the second show will be in Phoenix, AZ., Oct. 15th.

On the Rally Racing front, I'd like to congratulate Pat and Nathalie Richard for another
first place finish in Colorado "COG" in the Rally America series this past
weekend. I feel very proud to have them sport our Red and White ESX colors again at the
top of the podium! Good luck for another championship year in 2005!
