In classic import vs. domestic fashion, Krystos defeated Todd Armandus in his Mustang with an 8.43 elapsed time to an 8.77. In the final round, Krystos took out the number one qualifier, Alex Vrettos in his Mustang with a Paul Efantis car.jpg (61485 bytes)consistent 8.52 ET over a losing 9.58.

In PRO OUTLAW RWD, Paul Efantis worked out the bugs in his Little Dooey Barbeque & Blues Toyota Solara to adapt to recent rule changes and qualified in the number 2 spot. Paul was defeated in round two of eliminations to event winner, Terris Hicks in his Mustang in what was one of the closest races of the weekend.
