Thermal Dynamics is a manufacturer of heat exchangers for the
Automotive, Mobile, and Fluid Power marketplaces. For over 40 years Thermal Dynamics has
been a pioneer in the design and manufacturing of heat transfer systems for some of the
most hard-working equipment found anywhere, on or off the highway, as well as some of the
best selling cars and trucks on the road today. TDC is registered to ISO9001 and QS-9000

Founded in 1957 as one of six operating divisions of Dunham-Bush,
Thermal Dynamics is headquartered in Ontario, CA and employs over 200 individuals. A
second location is in Detroit, MI. The Ontario facility provides the most up-to-date
technology both in machinery and computer modeling. One such piece of machinery is a
75-foot long production-brazing furnace where the assembled components are brazed with the
patented Nocolok process.
The
Automotive Group of TDC is an OEM supplier, which currently supplies over 50,000 coolers a
week to Ford, GM, and Chrysler. Among the pioneer projects in high-performance cooling
applications were the original Ford Cobra engine oil coolers and the first production
application of an auxiliary transmission cooler on a production model pick-up truck.
TDCs Fluid Power Group is the designer and manufacturer of the THERM-Hx heat
exchanger and the Mobile Groups heat exchangers have been developed to improve the
durability and performance of a wide range of industrial and commercial power systems.
