FLUIDYNE® has reintroduced our popular 3-row Direct-Fit all aluminum radiators for 1955-1957 Chevy passenger cars. These radiators are available in either the 6-cylinder style which mounts in front of the core support, or the 8 cylinder style which mounts behind the core support. The high efficiency 3-row core, which has 1 inch tubes, provides the extra cooling needed for today’s high horsepower engine applications. With these FLUIDYNE® radiators, there is no need for modifications to the original mounts, since the radiators will bolt up just like the originals. • World’s Fastest Honda Civic

Place: Bonneville Salt Flats Outside Wendover, Utah/Nevada
    Event: Bonneville Speed Week
    Date: August 11-17, 2007

Piloting the Lucas Oil Honda Civic, Richard Holdener blistered the salt by running a two-wayIMG_2475.JPG (74295 bytes) average of 207.5 mph. Running in the Blown Gas Competition Coupe class, the turbocharged Civic bettered the old record (set in 1991) of 196.124 mph by over 11 mph.

Bonneville records require the vehicle to make two time speed runs. The official speed is the average of the two runs. The Lucas Oil Honda Civic ran 206.2 mph in the first run and 208.7 mph in the cool morning air on the second day. The Civic was clocked at nearly 210 mph exiting the 5th mile. Holdener was quick to credit extensive dyno and top-speed testing in preparation for the Bonneville event. According to Holdener, “We spent hours on the dyno making sure the motor was both powerful and reliable. We also made numerous 200+ mph speed runs at our top-secret Nevada test facility (appropriately labeled Area 52). Running a FLUIDYNE High Performance radiator, BFG street tires, Eibach coil-over suspension and 17 psi of boost, we ran over 211 mph at Area 52. That was an exciting ride!”

  • Titan Motorsports In the Winners Circle

Titan Motorsports fought bad weather and a very difficult race track to return to the winner's circle. It wasn't beautiful, but it was a win and Brad Personett managed to hold on to the NHRA Championship lead. Team owner, Nero Delawala admitted he was pleased they survived the event and extremely pleased his new driver, Gary White, pulled off a big win racing Matt Scranton in the final.  gary_white Titan.jpg (28430 bytes)

The Moroso race track proved to be the biggest challenge for the competitors during the weekend with many aborted runs and several contacts with the crash walls including a minor touch by World Champion Personett and a more severe hit by past world champion Scranton. Both teams will be ready to run next week at the US Nationals in Indianapolis . A magazine editor summed it up the best saying these cars are a real handful on a great track with perfect conditions, this weekend they had neither.
