PRODUCT LINE OVERVIEW:
Legends Cars (Dwarf Cars on some circuits) are 5/8 scale replicas of 1930's model Fords and Chevys, powered by four-cylinder,11-1200cc air-cooled engines rated at upwards of 150 horsepower.
During race conditions, oil sump temperatures commonly reach 300 degrees Farenheit in these air cooled engines. Because the engine oil is common to the gear box and clutch pack, lubricant is subjected to far quicker viscosity breakdown and heat buildup. Performance oil cooling is a must!
The FLUIDYNE® solution to this problem is a compact (16" x 10-1/2" x 1") single pass and/or double-pass all-aluminum oil cooler. Test sessions and data collected by the champions in the sport during and after actual races show an unbelievable drop of as much as 90° Fahrenheit in oil temperature. Click Graph For Enlarged View
Noticeable differences at the end of several 30-lap mains include fresh oil appearance and odor, excellent wear patterns on cams, rocker arms and bearings and extended clutch life. The FLUIDYNE® cooler features 1/2" NPT inlet/outlet fittings and a fitting for an oil temperature sending unit.
